Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox, who studied for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. Lennox was able to live by surviving on a student stipend, and work part-time jobs. Lennox was a student in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy about her performances as compared to the performance of her peers. Then she began to consider other options. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. However she left prior to the group's appearance to I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she was singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British Pop band. They met Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox went on to record her solo debut album Diva. The album was released in the year 1992. The album garnered a lot of praise both from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album debuted on October 31, 2014. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs favorite soul jazz and blues tunes from her upbringing. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. The album is comprising four tracks that were that were improvised. This E.P. The E.P. is her first independent album and a companion to the art installation she created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You Go... Medusa is a studio album that features the cover versions of some popular tracks like No MoreI Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer is acknowledged with seven studio albums by herself as well as a compilation.
